Launch of Jamaica Innovations

The Jamaican National Technology Commercialization Program, Jamaica Innovations, officially launched at the 31st Annual Science and Technology Conference.

Jamaica Innovations is the result of a year-long effort to assess needs, develop a strategy, and train personnel. The program is funded by the Development Bank of Jamaica as part of their BIGEE initiative to Boost Innovation, Growth, and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems in the country. The launch featured a panel of speakers representing each of the participating institutions,:
