Purpus and Mattu join APIOiX, Pradhan and Batalia Appointed to Academic Leadership Roles
APIOiX has been engaged by the Development Bank of Jamaica to launch a national academic technology commercialization program.
APIOiX professionals are working with the Archimedes Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Athens to provide technology transfer and intellectual property management training under a grant from the EU, with an onsite training from January 15-18, 2024.
The APIOiX grant writing team worked diligently with their client, the University of Wyoming, to help secure a $6 million award from the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) inaugural Accelerating Research Translation (ART) program.
APIOiX Managing Director, Ray Wheatley, traveled to Nairobi, Kenya in September to conduct training for the African Academy of Sciences, at their first-ever “Forum on Technology Transfer, Innovation, Commercialization, and Entrepreneurship Resource Network for Africa.”
Now in its 5th year, APIOiX continues its long-running collaboration with SAGE, conducting a Fall 2023 training program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Arun presented a keynote address at the Indian National Institute for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Hyderabad. His talk focused on what is important for small and medium enterprises to consider developing an intellectual property strategy, with a focus on factors that contribute to success.
The APIOiX/I2ED team present surprising new findings on the impact of resource allocation on technology transfer licensing outcomes. The data was examined by university quartile based on research expenditures.
