In particular, the team has tremendous technical experience with required registrations and application systems, both in the U.S. and globally.

Small Business Innovation Grants (SBIR/STTR)

Small business is the lifeblood of a healthy innovation ecosystem. APIOiX has over 15 years experience working with technology startups to craft SBIR and STTR grants applications. With over $15 million in funded grants to-date, we excel at Phase I/II fast-track applications.

In 2019, APIOiX became a U.S. Small Business Administration Federal and State Technology (FAST) Partnership Program provider for the State of Nevada. FAST providers conduct regional training and provide direct technical and business assistance to small businesses making application to the SBIR/STTR programs.

Economic Development Initiatives

APIOiX has a proven record of success in securing or helping to secure funding for regional and national economic development initiatives. We work closely with our clients to help survey the landscape, assess the innovation ecosystem, design programs, and collaborate to write winning proposals. Examples of projects include the National Science Foundation, U.S. Economic Development Administration, U.S. Small Business Administration, and U.S. Department of State, as well as international authorities in the EU, Asia, and the Middle East. We have also worked directly with university administrations and statewide systems to analyze regional economic development status and needs.
